Amira Test Platform Documentation

Introduction

Welcome to the documentation for the Amira Test Platform. This platform provides a comprehensive suite of tools for testing and validating various Amira devices, including the Bracelet, Hub, and Charger, as well as packaging integrity.

This guide provides an overview of the available tests and how to navigate the platform. For detailed instructions, follow the steps presented on each specific test page.

Getting Started

To begin testing:

  • Navigate to the desired device category (Bracelet, Hub, Charger, Packaging) from the main dashboard.
  • Select the specific type of test you wish to perform (e.g., Manual, Bluetooth, Firmware Update).
  • Ensure your testing environment is set up correctly. For Bluetooth tests, make sure your computer's Bluetooth is enabled and any necessary drivers are installed.
  • Follow the on-screen prompts and instructions carefully for each test step.

Device Test Categories

Bracelet Tests (/tests/bracelet)

Tests designed specifically for the Amira Bracelet.

  • Manual Tests: Perform visual and physical inspections (e.g., button feedback, LED checks, logo alignment, snap security).
  • Bluetooth Tests: Verify wireless connectivity, data transfer, and communication protocols.
  • Firmware Update: Update the bracelet's firmware using the provided tools.

Hub Tests (/tests/hub)

Tests focused on the Amira Hub.

  • Manual Tests: Conduct visual and physical checks (e.g., button feedback, LED status, vent checks, component alignment).
  • Bluetooth Tests: Test wireless connectivity and diagnostics.
  • Firmware Update: Update the hub's firmware.

Charger Tests (/tests/charger)

Manual inspection tests for the Amira Charger.

  • Check for the presence and condition of the rubber pad.
  • Examine for gaps between charger parts.
  • Visually inspect pogo pins for damage or misalignment.

Packaging Tests (/tests/packaging)

Verification steps for product packaging integrity and contents.

  • Verify pristine condition of external and internal packaging.
  • Confirm presence and accuracy of Hub and Bracelet serial numbers on the box.
  • Ensure the user manual and pad note are included.
  • Check pad placement and ensure the Hub is emptied.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues during testing (e.g., Bluetooth connection failures, firmware update errors), consult the specific error messages provided by the platform. Ensure all prerequisites (device power, connections) are met. (Further troubleshooting steps can be added here as needed).
